Job summary

Vantage Data Centers Australia Pty Ltd seeks a Senior Manager, Customer ICT for the APAC region to lead and elevate design and engineering efforts for Customer ICT infrastructure. You will own the design lifecycle, collaborate with engineering teams, oversee procurement, and act as the primary liaison with department leaders across the APAC market.

You will guide regional design management, mentor teams, and promote innovation in BIM, prefabrication, and low-carbon design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in telecommunication engineering or related discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in design engineering, design management, or related leadership roles within data center.
• Strong understanding of data center and customer ICT; MEP knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience managing the full design lifecycle across complex construction projects.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams across large-scale developments.
• Strong knowledge of design coordination, change management, and construction delivery processes.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to assess design impacts on cost, schedule, and project performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across regional and cross-cultural teams.
• APAC construction markets familiarity; travel about 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of regional ICT design packages, standards, and specifications.
• Oversee full design lifecycle from feasibility to IFC, ensuring alignment with cost and schedule.
• Establish regional design management processes and KPI monitoring.
• Support sales and development teams in client meetings and technical presentations.
• Provide updates on design progress, risks, and priorities to senior leadership.
• Coordinate design changes across internal teams and external consultants.
