Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Associate Director to lead design and delivery of mission-critical data centre projects across Australia and the APAC region. You will mentor multi-disciplinary teams, drive technical excellence and ensure programme performance in line with global standards.

Reporting to the APAC Regional Data Centre Director, you will oversee HVAC design, coordinate inter-disciplinary services, manage risks and commercial performance, and support growth through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification in engineering or project management advantageous.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in mechanical design across building typologies.
• Proven ability to deliver projects meeting technical and commercial objectives.
• Experience contributing to business growth and client development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Oversee HVAC design development aligned with requirements.
• Ensure calculations and documentation meet industry standards and Right First Time.
• Coordinate engineering services across disciplines.
• Maintain commercial dashboards and project financials.
• Support business development and client engagement.
