Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics in Australia seeks a Senior Manager Training & Capability APAC to build and lead capability, learning, and competency frameworks across the APAC region. Based in Australia, the role partners with business leaders to drive workforce capability, performance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Learning & Development, Training, or Capability functions in complex operational environments.
• Designing capability frameworks, workforce development strategies, and competency-based programs.
• Strong understanding of competency assurance, assessment, verification, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change across diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the APAC training and capability strategy, aligning with business goals and workforce needs.
• Design and implement capability frameworks, competency models, and development pathways across the region.
• Drive workforce capability uplift initiatives to improve operational performance.
• Establish governance, assurance, and competency verification frameworks to support risk and compliance.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Ensure training programs align with operational, safety, and quality standards across functions.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, capability development, and performance improvement.
