Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Consultant in Brokerage Ops to join the Sydney team. This role covers trade support, settlements, reconciliations, governance, and control processes within a fast-paced APAC brokerage operations group.

You will support the APAC domicile client base, analyze activity, and ensure timely and accurate processing in line with guidelines and policies. Collaboration with peers and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3+ years in capital markets or brokerage operations.
• Experience with trade support, settlements, and reconciliations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform capital markets operations across trade support, settlement, reconciliation, and related processes.
• Support APAC client base and inbound APAC executions from global clients.
• Analyze transactions and data to resolve routine issues with guidance as needed.
