Job summary

Bupa Australia is seeking an Analytics Specialist to embed a data-driven culture within the Group Internal Audit (GIA) Function. This senior leadership role provides in-depth analysis of risk and business data to support auditors and enables real-time data-led decision making across the APAC region.

You will lead the Assurance Analyst, develop analytics tools across audits, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence planning and assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience applying data analysis and data visualization techniques and tools
• Experience operating in business-facing roles with diverse stakeholders
• Advanced Excel user with VBA modelling experience
• Intermediate to advanced SQL
• Practical experience turning qualitative and quantitative analysis into impactful Power BI results
• Coding in Python
• Strong understanding of data architecture and data analysis concepts
• Analytical in approach drawing on multiple information sources
• People leadership experience developing and coaching small teams

Responsibilities

• Work with audit teams to manage data analysis as part of internal audit work
• Deliver insightful analysis enabling audit teams to meet objectives
• Collaborate with Heads of Audit on data collection and analysis for continuous auditing and planning insights
• Develop and present data analytic engagement reports and findings to senior management
• Educate and develop GIA team on data analytics methodologies and tools
• Lead and manage Assurance Analyst
