Job summary

Graya is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Payroll Officer to join our Finance team in Teneriffe, Queensland. You will own end-to-end accounts payable and payroll administration across multiple construction projects and entities, ensuring accurate processing and strong financial controls.

You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, Project Managers and Contract Administrators to keep financial processes moving efficiently, while maintaining compliance and governance across payroll

Qualifications

• 3+ years in AP & Payroll, ideally within construction, property development or a project-based environment.
• Experience with invoice processing and subcontractor payments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end accounts payable across a portfolio of construction and development projects.
• Process weekly payroll for 100+ employees across multiple entities.
• Manage supplier, subcontractor and consultant invoices, payment runs, reconciliations and account queries.
• Partner closely with Project Managers and Contract Administrators to keep project financial processes moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate payroll administration across wages, superannuation, PAYG, leave and employee entitlements.
• Support strong financial governance and compliance across accounts payable, payroll and construction-specific requirements.
