Job summary

Jarrah House, the residential rehabilitation location for Women’s Alcohol and Drug Advisory Centre Incorporated (WADAC), seeks a Manager to lead non-residential AOD services in the community. You will work closely with the CEO, subject matter experts and the steering committee to shape a new Family, Carers and Friends service.

Qualifications

• Experience in AOD and/or health sectors.
• Ability to guide, mentor and work collaboratively.
• Experience in counselling and group facilitation.
• Knowledge of psychosocial and therapeutic frameworks for AOD and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate counselling and support services for non-residential AOD clients (Aftercare and Family, Carers and Friends).
• Co-design, monitor and evaluate therapeutic frameworks, content and tools.
• Conduct client screening, assessments and care planning.
• Deliver psychosocial services including counselling, group facilitation (online and in-person), psychoeducation and brief interventions.
• Contribute to clinical governance, activity/outcome review and quality improvement.
• Maintain client and operational records.
• Build collaborative partnerships with relevant agencies and services.
