Job summary

Drug ARM is hiring a Case Worker for a part-time role (30.4 hours per fortnight) located across Toowoomba and Dalby, with opportunities to run group programs in correctional centers. The role requires you to perform initial assessments, build rapport, develop a treatment plan and provide progress reports to Referring Officers.

Applicants must have undergraduate health/human services qualifications or be working towards one, with two years’ sector experience or equivalent intensive AOD

Qualifications

• Must have undergraduate health/human services qualifications or be working towards one.
• Experience in delivering alcohol and other drug services is accepted with relevant qualification.
• Certificate or Diploma in AOD with strong experience is suitable.
• Extensive AOD experience can substitute formal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-hour appointments within Community Corrections offices.
• Develop rapport, case formulation and treatment plans for participants.
• Provide progress reports to referring officers on participants' progress.
• Work across designated offices to support program delivery.

Undergraduate qualifications in health/human services

Intensive AOD experience (no qualifications)
