Job summary

Uniting Communities in Adelaide's metro region seeks a motivated New ROADS Case Worker to deliver intensive AOD and related support across our residential and outreach services. This role covers intake, case management, client transport, living skills, tenancy maintenance and group work, within a supportive, 24/7 shift-friendly environment.

Part-time fixed-term roles with overnights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion or progress toward Certificate IV in AOD, Mental Health or Community Services.
• Qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or related field encouraged.
• Experience delivering intensive support and case work with clients.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate meetings and transport clients for activities.
• Provide client support, living skills, tenancy maintenance and case management.
• Handle admissions and intake assessments, and conduct drug screenings.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups (Smart Recovery and relapse prevention).
• Deliver office and outreach-based AOD services and support residential clients.
• Develop partnerships with community to improve outcomes and drive referrals.
• Contribute to reducing stigma around AOD and related issues.
