Job summary

Hill’s Pet Nutrition in Australia is seeking an energetic events-focused Marketing professional to lead conferences, sponsorships and industry partnerships across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will manage budgets, liaise with veterinary professionals and key accounts, and optimise event ROI. Strong negotiation, project management and CVENT skills are essential for success in this dynamic role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years event management experience.
• Experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience using event management software.
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage simultaneous projects.
• Adaptable/problem solving.
• Outstanding communication skills with proven success in events and content.
• Budget management and analysis experience.
• Experience in veterinary or health industry preferred.
• CVENT experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Overall management, execution and oversight of sponsored and direct to profession conferences, Retail events and related events for Australia and New Zealand.
• Ideate & execute bespoke trade exhibition solutions for the region in response to marketing strategy and business initiatives.
• Research, brief, negotiate and manage event destinations, venues, staff and suppliers.
• Briefing, overseeing, and monitoring fulfilment of work of external consultants and stakeholders.
• Budget management, reporting and analysis of professional event engagements.
• Develop the communication strategy for effective promotion of Hill’s own events.
• Work cross functionally with internal stakeholders & key account managers to understand requirements of key veterinary groups and ensure event obligations are fulfilled.
• Develop annual budgets and yearly events calendars, and provide ongoing financial management of events.
• Report on and track event statistics to assist with future budget development and professional marketing strategies.
• Manage online event management platform (CVENT), associated CRM integrations to deliver data.
