Job summary

East Wimmera Health Service invites applications for the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) at the Birchip campus. This is a Permanent Fulltime position offering 80 hours per fortnight with a rotating roster across all shifts.

The ANUM provides clinical leadership and support to staff, students and consumers to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes. There is potential to progress to Grade 5 Nursing Supervisor and access to salary packaging and remote area benefits.

Qualifications

• The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) holds a key clinical, supportive and leadership role to staff, students and consumers to ensure appropriate clinical care is provided and positive outcomes consumers met.

Responsibilities

• ANUM is accountable for the efficient and effective provision of quality client care that promotes the client’s well-being.
• The role includes leadership across a mixed ward of acute and aged care with a rotating roster across all shifts.
