Job summary

East Wimmera Health Service invites applications for the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) at the Birchip campus. This is a Permanent Fulltime position offering 80 hours per fortnight with a rotating roster across all shifts.

The ANUM provides clinical leadership and support to staff, students and consumers to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes. There is potential to progress to Grade 5 Nursing Supervisor and access to salary packaging and remote area benefits.

East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing five communities in the Buloke and Northern Grampians Shires in the picturesque rural setting of North Western Victoria.

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) holds a key clinical, supportive and leadership role to staff, students and consumers to ensure appropriate clinical care is provided and positive outcomes consumers met.

The ANUM is an integral member of the nursing team who provides services to a diverse client group. Within this role, the ANUM is accountable for the efficient and effective provision of quality client care that promotes the client’s well-being.

Our Birchip campus is a modern facility consisting of 12 aged care beds, 3 acute beds and a small urgent care center, enabling you the diversity of working across a mixed ward of acute and aged care.
