Job summary

Curis Recruitment seeks an experienced Registered Nurse / Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join a supportive health service in regional Victoria.

This is a permanent full-time ANUM role offering clinical leadership on a mixed Aged/Acute ward and collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager and nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care. Up to three months accommodation and a friendly regional healthcare team enhance the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• A minimum of 1 years experience as an ANUM, Acting ANUM, Team Leader or senior Registered Nurse
• Must have full Australian working rights

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical leadership and support to nursing staff
• Coordinating and prioritising patient care across the ward
• Supporting the NUM with daily ward operations
• Acting as a senior clinical resource for the nursing team
• Supporting and mentoring nurses, graduates and students
• Assisting with staff allocation and workload management
• Recognising and responding to patient deterioration
• Promoting high standards of clinical practice and patient safety
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Contributing to clinical policies, procedures and service development
• Working closely with the multidisciplinary team
• Helping build a positive, collaborative team culture
