Job summary

Central Highlands Rural Health – Trentham VIC is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to coordinate quality and safe care in the Trentham Aged Care setting. The ANUM will work with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating staff and resources to ensure person-centred care and stepping in for the Nurse Unit Manager when required.

Hours are 48 per fortnight, part-time and ongoing.

Qualifications

• Coordinate and organise staff and resources to deliver quality and safe person-centred care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical and time management skills while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• ANUM must be able to operate in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate provision of quality and safe care in the residential aged care setting.
• Organise staff and resources to support timely care delivery.
• Act in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager to lead the unit.
