Job summary

Southern Cross Austereo in Melbourne is seeking a Workday Announcer/Operations Assistant for The FOX. You will voice the Melbourne workday, craft engaging audio content, and collaborate with the Content Director to keep The Fox dynamic and relevant across on-air, social, and podcast formats.

You’ll work closely with the content team to deliver strong on-air moments, grow audience engagement, and contribute to show planning while staying connected to music and pop culture trends.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an Announcer, Executive Producer or similar content-focused role.
• Proven experience creating compelling audio content and engaging audiences.
• Strong understanding of contemporary music, entertainment and pop culture.
• Exceptional storytelling, communication and content creation skills.
• A passion for great radio, digital content and audience growth.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.

A day in the life?

As The Fox Workday Announcer, you'll be the voice of Melbourne throughout the workday, creating engaging, entertaining and relatable content that keeps listeners connected and coming back for more.

Working closely with the Content Director and broader content team, you'll play a key role in delivering great on-air moments, developing compelling content, and helping The Fox remain one of Australia's most iconic radio brands.

No two days are the same, but you'll be:
