Job summary

Pet Resort Operations Pty Ltd- Gumdale is seeking an animal attendant to join our Brisbane team. The role is physically demanding and fast-paced, requiring a can-do attitude and flexibility across a 7-day roster.

You will handle and care for dogs and cats, monitor health, and keep the facilities clean. Ideal candidates have proven husbandry and canine handling experience, breed knowledge, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Proven animal husbandry and canine handling knowledge and experience.
• Cat and dog breed knowledge along with good behaviour/medical observation skills.
• Must be comfortable with handling dogs with varying size and temperament.
• Must be comfortable with handling cats.
• Strong understanding of reading & understanding dog and cat behaviour.
• Knowledge of cleaning and infection control procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Team skills, and a positive loyal attitude.
• Strong Customer Service and client communication skills.
• Current driver's license and own transport.
