Job summary

Experian Marketing Services (EMS) is seeking a proactive Presales Analytics Consultant in Melbourne. You will help shape data-driven solutions, support presales opportunities, and work with sales and delivery teams to understand client needs and communicate value.

You will develop client-facing materials, participate in discovery sessions, and contribute to implementation projects while building deep knowledge of Experian's consumer and commercial data, insights and marketing solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in analytics, data, or related role.
• Degree in analytics, business, marketing, data, technology or related field.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in consumer data and marketing.
• Curiosity and willingness to investigate, ask good questions and explain findings.
• Some experience with analytical or data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx or Snowflake would be useful, but we don't expect expertise across all of them.

Responsibilities

• Support presales opportunities across a range of marketing, data and analytics solutions.
• Research client challenges and help identify solutions that align with their goals.
• Assess solution feasibility and investigate how our products, data and services can create value.
• Prepare client presentations, proposals and supporting materials.
• Participate in discovery sessions, solution workshops and client meetings.
• Help with meeting preparation, follow-up activities and transitions to delivery teams.
• Contribute to implementation and delivery projects to develop practical product knowledge.
• Build an understanding of Experian's consumer and commercial data, insights and marketing solutions.
• Partner with colleagues across sales, product and delivery teams to improve client outcomes.
