Job summary

Torus Group is seeking two Analytics Engineers (Systems) for a fixed-term contract in Australia. You will work in the Business Intelligence team, building end-to-end data solutions using SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to deliver dashboards and insights across the organisation.

The role focuses on implementing new systems, developing robust reporting, and enabling data-driven decision-making while expanding skills in AI and emerging data technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a similar analytics/BI role.
• Experience delivering analytics solutions and BI reports.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting and performance measures.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, transform and model data from multiple systems to create dashboards and reports.
• Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards and MI for timely insight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into reporting actions.
• Write SQL scripts and automate reporting processes for efficiency and consistency.
• Support data quality, governance and metadata management activities.
• Produce documentation and user guidance for reports and dashboards.
• Identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making and service improvement.
• Keep up-to-date with BI tech, including Fabric and AI.
