Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to analyse complex datasets and deliver data-driven insights. You will develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau, collaborating with stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure data quality and governance.

The role requires strong SQL skills and experience in agile environments. The position is based in Australia with eligibility for NV1 clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Data Analysis, BI, Reporting, or data-focused analytical roles.
• Strong experience in SQL and querying large datasets across multiple data sources.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, data validation, data quality, and reporting best practices.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions.
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and information management principles.
• Experience working with relational databases, data warehouses, and enterprise reporting platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Aus Citizens with NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret, and validate complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
• Gather, document, and translate business and reporting requirements into analytical solutions.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation activities to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver data-driven outcomes.
