Job summary

Flexiq | Flexible Thinking seeks an experienced Manager - Analytics & Advisory to lead client engagements, shape analytical capability, and turn data into actionable improvements. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic problem-solving and team development.

You will mentor analysts, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and pursue new business opportunities while delivering measurable outcomes for complex client environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' relevant experience, including substantial client-facing consulting or advisory work.
• Proficiency in data visualisation and modelling tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel for complex analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies and leading business improvement frameworks within large-scale operations.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, data analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement, commercial judgement and genuine people leadership.
• Experience across energy, utilities, infrastructure, government or other complex, asset-intensive environments will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience with leading and developing a team of direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with senior clients and help them navigate difficult decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of analysts.
• Turn financial, operational, project and procurement data into meaningful business insight.
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and generate new work.
• Actively seek and support the development of new opportunities for Flexiq.
