Job summary

Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation – Dutton Park QLD is recruiting a Chemist to join the Chemistry Centre. You will perform chemical analyses of water, soil, plant and sediment samples using ICP-MS, ICP-OES and other advanced instruments, while contributing to method development and validation in a collaborative laboratory.

• Qualification in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or an equivalent discipline.
• Experience operating analytical instrumentation and laboratory systems.

• Willingness to learn and develop methods and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analyses of water, soil, plant and sediment samples.
• Prepare samples for analysis and operate advanced instrumentation.
