Job summary

Prodigal Capital, a global quantitative trading firm, seeks an Analyst to help shape AI integration across research, trading and operations in Sydney. You’ll join a small, technical team, sit across research, trading operations and the business, and help bring AI tools into data workflows, reporting, execution support and process automation.

A degree in a quantitative field and coding comfort are essential.

We're looking for an Analyst to join a small, technical team where the work is genuinely varied. You'll sit across research, trading operations and the business itself, and a core part of the role is helping us bring AI tools into every level of what we do, from data and research workflows through to reporting, execution support and process automation. This is new ground for the industry, so you'll be figuring things out rather than following a playbook.

You don't need trading experience. A degree in mathematics, engineering, data science, computer science or a related field is essential, as is comfort with data and a willingness to write code. What matters most is how you think and how quickly you pick things up. This role will suit someone with the following traits:

• Genuine curiosity about AI: you already experiment with these tools and have views on where they work and where they don't.
