Job summary

Prodigal Capital, a global quantitative trading firm, seeks an Analyst to help shape AI integration across research, trading and operations in Sydney. You’ll join a small, technical team, sit across research, trading operations and the business, and help bring AI tools into data workflows, reporting, execution support and process automation.

A degree in a quantitative field and coding comfort are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in mathematics, engineering, data science, computer science or related field.
• Comfort with data and willingness to write code.
• Ability to think critically and translate ideas into working AI tools.
• Ability to prototype quickly and iterate on solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support research, trading and operations across a global multi-asset business.
• Build and integrate AI tools into the workflows the firm runs on.
• Work across research, trading operations and the business to bring AI into data, reporting, execution support and automation.
• Prototype and improve AI workflows rather than wait for perfect specs.
