Job summary

Prodigal Capital, a global quantitative trading firm, seeks an experienced Senior Trader to own execution and risk across a multi-asset book. Based in Sydney, you will manage real-time trading across equity and commodity markets and lead a desk that operates around the clock across Asian, European and North American sessions.

You will mentor junior traders, help develop workflows and strategies, and set high standards for disciplined, autonomous trading with rigorous risk controls.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Trader to take ownership of execution and risk across our global, multi-asset book. The successful candidate will play a leading role on a desk that trades around the clock, covering Asian, European and North American sessions, and will help shape how we execute our strategies.

We’re looking for an experienced Trader to help steer the direction of our global, multi-asset book. In this role, you will manage real-time execution and portfolio risk, exercising judgment across equity and commodity markets. You’ll operate largely autonomously on a rotating, around-the-clock schedule, with a strong emphasis on setting standards for a dynamic desk and mentoring junior talent. Experience in trading, especially in quantitative or multi-asset environments, and a degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field are essential. Your impact will come from quick, sound decisions and the ability to bring both discipline and structure to our trading operations. This role will suit someone with the following traits:
