Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care Australia is seeking a part-time Clinical Assessment and Documentation Nurse for the Romsey Community Aged Care residence. The role focuses on ANACC management, assessments of new residents, and coaching the care team on documentation requirements.

The position involves four days a fortnight with flexible start times and opportunities to mentor staff and generate ANACC reports. RN registration (AHPRA) is essential, with a supportive team and Not-for-profit culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent experience as an ACFI Coordinator or similar role (desirable).
• Knowledge of the new AN-ACC funding model.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to build relationships.
• Proficient in a clinical documentation system.
• Current AHPRA RN registration is essential.
• Willingness to learn and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of ANACC including assessment of new residents.
• Identify uplifts in a timely manner and apply for uplifts.
• Manage DoH correspondence related to ANACC.
• Coach staff on good assessment writing principles.
• Provide orientation to ANACC assessors and generate reports.
