Job summary

The Pared Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic Alumni Relations Officer to nurture and grow our alumni community across multiple campuses. Reporting to the Heads of School, you will coordinate communications and events, and support mentoring initiatives that strengthen engagement with the school.

This part-time role is 1 day per week, with occasional evenings and weekends. You will manage alumni records, build relationships with graduates and volunteers, and contribute to a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, marketing, events, community engagement or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships.
• Confidence using databases, social media platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• A high level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
• Experience in a school or education environment.
• Experience with alumni engagement, fundraising or community-building initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver alumni communications, including newsletters, website content and social media updates.
• Maintain alumni records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and privacy requirements.
• Coordinate alumni events such as reunions, networking opportunities and mentoring initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with alumni, volunteers and the broader school community.
• Encourage alumni involvement in school events, student programs and community initiatives.
• Track engagement activities and provide reporting to the Head of School.
• Support the school's mission and ethos through positive community engagement.
