Job summary

All Fab Qld is an Architectural metalwork company supplying Balustrades, screens, sun hoods and other custom-made products across Queensland. We manufacture with Stainless and Aluminium using Mig, Tig, Laser and CNC machines, focusing on quality and craftsmanship.

We are seeking an experienced fabricator/leading hand for our workshop to join a growing team. Minimum 3–5 years in aluminium and stainless steel fabrication, with MIG and TIG welding proficiency, is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in aluminium and stainless steel fabrication.
• Trade qualified in MIG and TIG welding is required.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Willingness to learn laser welding in-house.
• Attention to detail and ability to work to drawings.
• Good time management and ability to work to time scales.
• Adherence to WHS policies.
• Ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble and inspect parts to drawings.
• Operate and use hand tools and machinery safely.
• Work as part of a workshop team or individually with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to WHS policies and maintain quality workmanship.

The next 12 months mark a period of growth as work begins on our new factory, offering an exceptional working environment as we continue to thrive in the custom metal work industry.

We are seeking another experienced fabricator/leading hand to join our workshop team; experience and a positive attitude are essential.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aluminium and stainless steel fabrication.

• Competent in MIG and TIG Welding of Stainless and Aluminium. Laser welding can be taught in-house.
• Trade qualified level proficiency in MIG and TIG welding is required.
• Experience with metal polishing would be beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Ability to fabricate, assemble and check your own work to drawings
• Ability to use and operate hand tools and machinery in a safe manner
• Ability to solve problems while maintaining a can-do attitude
• Have great attention to detail
• Must have good time management skills with the ability to work to time scales.
• Adhere to WHS policies
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually, be motivated and able to work unsupervised
• Current white card
• Forklift license beneficial but not essential
• Fit and healthy, honest and hard working
• Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa required.
