Job summary

CRA Construction is a Brisbane plastering and carpentry contractor working on residential and commercial projects. We’re seeking an experienced all round plasterer ready for more responsibility and to grow into a Foreman role with us.

You will hang, set and finish plasterboard to our high standards, deliver Level 4 and Level 5 finishes, and assist with coordinating on-site activities. This is a pathway role with opportunities to lead a crew and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Solid all round plastering experience across residential or commercial projects.
• Ability to deliver Level 4/5 plasterboard finishes to CRA standards.
• Mentor and guide other plasterers on site to improve skill level.

Responsibilities

• Hanging, setting and finishing plasterboard to CRA's standard.
• Deliver Level 4 and Level 5 finishes as needed.
• Install cove cornice, square set and P50 shadowline with clean reveals.
• Work with various board types including Villaboard.
• Assist supervisors with setting out, crew coordination and daily site running.
• Check materials and quality before progressing to next stage.
• Perform pre-paint inspections and sort defects before handover.
• Mentor other plasterers on site.

CRA Construction is a Brisbane plastering and carpentry contractor working on residential and commercial projects. We're after an experienced all round plasterer who is ready for more responsibility. You'll work alongside our supervisors to help run our projects, lead by example on the tools and grow into a Foreman role with us.

Key responsibilities

Hanging, setting and finishing plasterboard to CRA's standard

Delivering Level 4 and Level 5 finishes, and knowing when each is needed

Installing cove cornice, square set and P50 shadowline with clean, sharp reveals

Working with regular, wet area, fire rated, acoustic and impact resistant boards, plus Villaboard

Supporting our supervisors with setting out, crew coordination and daily site running

Checking materials, quality and stages before moving on

Doing pre-paint inspections and sorting defects before handover

Mentoring and guiding other plasterers on site

About you

Solid all round experience in residential or commercial plastering

A full understanding of every stage, from delivery and site prep through to sanding and handover

A sharp eye for finish quality and pride in your work

The drive to step up and help lead a crew

Good communication with supervisors, builders and other trades

A strong safety mindset

Current White Card and driver's licence

Your own reliable transport and tools

Commercial ceilings and partitions experience highly regarded
