Job summary

Coulson Aviation Australia is seeking a Head of Airworthiness and Maintenance Control to lead a team responsible for airworthiness and maintenance across our fixed-wing and rotary-wing fleets in Australia.

The role ensures CASA compliance, oversees maintenance planning and data integrity of records, and coordinates with engineers, supervisors and regulators to maintain readiness for casualty response missions.

Qualifications

• CASA B1/B2/C licence or equivalent aircraft maintenance licence.
• Minimum 5 years in aircraft airworthiness management.
• Strong knowledge of CASA regulations and airworthiness standards.
• Experience interpreting maintenance data and continuing airworthiness documentation.
• Proven leadership experience in a regulated aviation environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical guidance to maintenance control teams.
• Oversee airworthiness compliance and maintenance planning for the fleet.
• Forecast and coordinate maintenance activities in line with manuals and CASA requirements.
• Ensure access to current ICA, ADs, SBs and manufacturer documentation.
• Maintain regulatory-compliant technical records and maintenance data.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineers and shift leaders to implement maintenance plans.
