Job summary

SSP Australia is seeking experienced Chefs to join the Kitchen at Sydney Airport T2 on a part-time or full-time basis. You will work with a Head Chef and culinary team, ensuring high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years' experience, hold a Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery, and a Food Handlers Certificate. You will manage the pass during service and contribute to consistent quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a Chef in a similar kitchen.
• Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery.
• Food Handlers Certificate.
• Experience in a large or high-volume kitchen team.
• Confident in cooking and managing the pass.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices.
• Organised, reliable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, collaborative and can-do attitude with a passion for food.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Head Chef and culinary team to support kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and food safety.
• Manage the pass during service and assist with busy kitchen operations.
• Contribute to smooth operation and positive team culture.
