Job summary

SSP Australia in Darwin Airport is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our busy multi-venue operation. You will report to the Assistant General Manager & General Manager and drive the performance of Restaurant Managers across venues.

Ideal candidates have hospitality, multi-site management experience and strong leadership with a focus on coaching, rostering and stock control. This role offers work-life balance, a competitive salary and opportunities for growth within SSP.

Qualifications

2+ years in a similar role (preferred).
Hospitality industry experience and multi-site management.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business-related disciplines (desired).
Strong leadership and shift management skills to engage, lead and train the team.
Self-driven and motivated to grow within a multi-venue leadership role.
Proven ability to deliver coaching and structured training for team members.
Experience managing high turnover operations, rosters and stock control is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Lead Restaurant Managers with ongoing leadership and coaching; provide clear daily/weekly direction.
Develop Restaurant Managers with clear development plans and regular reviews with General Manager.
Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide feedback.
Manage financial outputs: COGS, inventory control, labor costs and top-line sales vs. budget.
Maintain client relationships with partners and airport authorities.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure business compliance.
Drive audits and ensure best practices across operations.
