Job summary

QantasLink is seeking a Technical Records Officer based in Sydney to maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records in line with regulatory and operational requirements. You will work with Engineering, Maintenance and Planning teams, reviewing documentation, data entry, and record updates to support continuing airworthiness and fleet safety.

This 12-month fixed-term opportunity offers exposure to high‑reliability operations and on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical records, aviation records, maintenance administration, or a similar administrative role.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing documentation.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use records management systems.
• Ability to interpret and process maintenance documentation and logbooks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and ensure documentation is processed and stored per regulations.
• Review and manage technical documentation, data entry, record updates, and reporting with cross-functional teams.
• Support continuing airworthiness by ensuring records are complete and accessible to stakeholders.
