Job summary

QantasLink, a key part of the Qantas Group, is seeking a Technical Records Officer in Sydney to maintain aircraft maintenance records ensuring compliance and regulatory alignment. You’ll work with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and operations to review documentation, data entry and reporting for safe fleet operation.

We value detail, accuracy and knowledge of aviation records systems; previous airline/MRO experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical records, aviation records, maintenance administration, or a similar administrative role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and maintaining documentation.
• Sound computer literacy and confidence using records management systems.
• Ability to interpret and process maintenance documentation, work packs, logbooks, or technical records.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
• An understanding of aviation compliance, safety, or regulatory requirements would be highly regarded.
• Previous experience in an airline, MRO, or aviation maintenance environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Review and manage technical documentation, data entry, record updates and reporting to support safe fleet operation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and operational teams to ensure records are complete and available when needed.
