Job summary

Macleay Aircraft Maintenance in Kempsey NSW is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or B1.1/B1.2 Licensed LAME to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections and repairs on piston and turbine engines and airframes.

You will prepare maintenance documentation, mentor apprentices, and ensure compliance with CASA and regulatory standards, working with a small professional team on-site.

Qualifications

• Current CASA Part 66 B1.1 and/or B1.2 licence is required.
• Practical general aviation maintenance experience is essential.
• Sound fault-finding and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Experience with piston and/or turbine-powered aircraft is preferred.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and technical data.

About you

Current CASA Part 66 B1.1 and/or B1.2 licence (for LAME applicants)

Practical general aviation maintenance experience

Good understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and regulatory requirements

Ability to work both independently and as part of a small professional team

Recognised aircraft maintenance training or significant relevant aviation maintenance experience (for AME applicants)

Good mechanical and fault-finding skills

Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and technical data
