Job summary

AVCRO PTY LTD is seeking a Workshop Supervisor - Components to lead the day-to-day operations of the BNE Workshop in Brisbane, Monday to Friday. The role focuses on safe, compliant maintenance, repair, inspection and certification of aircraft components in accordance with CASA Part 145 requirements.

You will oversee planning, resource allocation and collaboration with RM-C, drive continuous improvement, ensure documentation accuracy and support urgent AOG priorities while mentoring technicians

Qualifications

• Experience supervising aircraft component maintenance, repair, overhaul or inspection.
• Knowledge of CASA Part 145 requirements, approved maintenance data and certification.
• Hands-on sheetmetal work experience with quality oversight.
• Ability to lead technicians, allocate work and monitor progress.
• Strong communication and stakeholder reporting skills.
• Planning and organisational skills for workflow management.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Intermediate IT skills with maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead repair, inspection, overhaul and testing of aircraft components in the BNE Workshop.
• Plan and allocate daily workshop activities, including labour, parts and downtime.
• Provide leadership to RM-C and collaborate with line and base managers.
• Support the raising and management of jobs, tasks and progress reports.
• Assist with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) requirements and urgent priorities.
• Ensure activities comply with data, procedures and aviation regulations.
• Maintain work packs, certification records and traceability.
• Lead toolbox meetings, mentor technicians and promote safety culture.
• Investigate quality issues with QA teams and support problem resolution.
• Manage workshop tooling, GSE, consumables and inventory.
• Support cost control and efficient workshop capacity.
