Job summary

Freightquip Brisbane Airport Workshop is seeking an experienced Service Technician to service, maintain and repair aviation ground support equipment. The role involves diagnostics, servicing and occasional travel to support customers across Australia.

We welcome qualified Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, Auto Electricians or Electricians to join our growing national team. You will work on Aircraft tugs, belt loaders, baggage tractors and other airport equipment, with OEM upgrades, service bulletins

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic with Australian trade qualification in heavy vehicles or electrical trades.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical faults in aviation ground support equipment.
• Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Attend breakdowns and minimize downtime for customers.
• Install, commission and test new equipment and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate service records using electronic reporting systems.
• Provide professional technical support and excellent customer service.
• Travel occasionally to support customers across Australia when required.
