Job summary

Equal Energy Solutions is seeking a qualified Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning Technician for Canberra. The role involves attending daily service, maintenance and breakdown jobs, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs, replacements and installations on split and ducted systems.

You will work on commercial fit-outs and refurbishment projects, install ductwork and coordinate with builders and other trades while providing preventative maintenance and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technician.
• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Relevant ACT trade licence.
• Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily service, maintenance and breakdown jobs.
• Diagnose faults across split and ducted air‑conditioning systems.
• Complete repairs, replacements and new installations.
• Work on commercial fit-outs and refurbishment projects.
• Install and modify ductwork, pipework, grilles and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Coordinate with builders, electricians and other trades.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and system servicing.
• Provide quotes and onsite practical solutions.
• Document job notes and photos accurately.
