Job summary
Simplex Air Conditioning & Electrical, based on the Gold Coast, seeks an experienced Air Conditioning Technician to deliver clean, high-quality installations and work confidently and independently on residential and light-commercial projects.
You will install split-system and ducted systems, test and commission, and communicate clearly with customers while keeping worksites tidy. A valid HVAC trade qualification, ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence, driver’s licence and White Card are required.
Qualifications
- HVAC trade qualification required.
- ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence required.
- Experience with split-systems and ducted installations preferred.
- Ability to work confidently and independently.
- Current Australian drivers licence required.
- Current White Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship not available).

We’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Technician who takes pride in delivering clean, high-quality installations and can work confidently and independently.
$45–$55 per hour, depending on experience

Your responsibilities will include:
Installing split-system and ducted air conditioning systems
Working on residential and light-commercial projects
Testing and commissioning systems
Completing installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Communicating clearly and professionally with customers
Keeping worksites clean and organised
Relevant HVAC trade qualifications
A current ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence
Strong experience with split-system and ducted installations
The ability to work confidently and independently
A current Australian driver’s licence
A current White Card or willingness to obtain one
A reliable, punctual and professional approach
A strong commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship
