Job summary

Sharpe Energy Services & Solutions is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Sales / Operations Manager to lead the Adelaide team from Thebarton. You will own day-to-day operations of the air conditioning division, ensure quotes, scheduling, completion and invoicing are executed efficiently and customer service remains outstanding.

Ideal candidates will have ARCtick Trade Qualification or restricted contractor licences, proven leadership in HVAC operations, and strong client management skills.

Air Conditioning Sales / Operations Manager

Sharpe Energy Services & Solutions is well established multi-trade private business, delivering electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and solar solutions to residential customers across metropolitan Adelaide. With over 45 years of history and experience, we operate using our fully licensed in-house technicians. This maintains our reputation built on quality workmanship and customer service. We are looking for an experiencedAir Conditioning Operations Managerto oversee the existing team from Thebarton.

The position will entail taking ownership of the day-to-day operations of our air conditioning division, ensuring jobs are quoted, scheduled, completed and invoiced efficiently while supporting technicians, customers and office staff. This is a leadership role suited to an experienced past refrigeration technician who understands both customer service and trade operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the long-established air conditioning Department.

Manage technician scheduling, job allocation and workflow coordination of daily service & breakdown jobs.

Review, approve and support the preparation of quotations and scopes of work.

Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to refrigeration technicians and assistants.

Monitor job progress, productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Australian & ARCtick Standards, regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Work closely with customers, property owners, landlords and small business clients to deliver outstanding service.

Collaborate with management and other trade divisions to support company growth and operational excellence.

About You

Current Australian refrigeration ARCtick Trade Qualification or restricted contractors level licences is essential

Proven experience in a leadership, supervisory or operational management role within the air conditioning industry

Strong knowledge of residential reverse cycle and evaporative systems, maintenance, fault finding and compliance requirements.

Exceptional organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams and build customer relationships.

Experience using job management software such as Simpro, ServiceTitan or similar platforms.

Current unrestricted driver's licence.

Highly Regarded

A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the air conditioning industry.

Experience within a residential service and maintenance environment.

Experience managing multiple technicians and work crews.

Leadership, management or business qualifications.
