Airtree Ventures is hiring an Investment Manager to find and win early-stage AI-led startups across ANZ, expanding into selective global opportunities.

The role emphasizes building relationships in the AI community, running end-to-end deals, and contributing to Airtree's internal AI tooling. A mid-level tenure with commercial instincts is valued, even if you haven't been an investor before.

Qualifications

• Proven interest in investing and the startup ecosystem.
• High agency; you create the gap they fill and build the needed tools.
• Able to write a compelling investment memo with clear risk assessment.
• Deeply networked in AI or show rapid potential to become so.
• You have shipped products, tools, or prototypes using AI and understand limits.

Responsibilities

• Source and win early stage investments across ANZ and globally.
• Lead due diligence at investment-committee quality level; assess tech defensibility and team.
• Contribute to Airtree's AI tooling and portfolio-monitoring capabilities.
• Support portfolio founders navigating AI adoption and strategy; connect them to relevant networks.
