Job summary

Sandfire is seeking an experienced AI Program Manager to lead an enterprise-wide AI program, translating strategic priorities into governed, scalable and measurable AI-enabled outcomes

The role oversees AI, generative AI, intelligent automation, predictive analytics and ML across the organisation, partnering with senior leaders, Legal, People, and external partners to ensure alignment with Sandfire’s strategy and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in program management delivering AI or digital initiatives from concept to production.
• 10+ years’ experience in the mining and resources sector, including operational environments.
• Strong understanding of AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning and Data & Analytics.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide technology programs and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Governing Sandfire’s AI program with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives with multidisciplinary teams and budgets.
• Establish and operate AI governance, audits and controls.
• Ensure responsible AI, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Report program progress and benefits to executives and the board; drive adoption.
• Lead change management, training and communication for AI initiatives.
