Verse in Western Australia is seeking an experienced AI Program Governance & Commercial Analyst to support a major AI program within a mining organisation.

You will play a key role in developing business cases, conducting commercial analysis and ensuring governance and PMO practices align with strategic priorities. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to inform investment decisions and track initiatives through to realised benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or reviewing business cases and investment proposals.
• Strong commercial analysis and financial assessment skills.
• Experience across PMO, program governance or transformation environments.
• Ability to assess costs, benefits, risks, dependencies and value realisation assumptions.
• Experience supporting governance forums, steering committees or senior stakeholder groups.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to provide constructive challenge.

Responsabilités

• Support the development and review of business cases for AI initiatives.
• Assess costs, benefits, risks, resource requirements, delivery timelines and dependencies.
• Provide constructive commercial challenge to proposals and recommendations to support investment and prioritisation decisions.
• Track approved initiatives against their business cases, including budgets, delivery progress, risks and benefits.
• Support the AI program’s governance framework, including processes, standards and approval pathways.
• Coordinate governance forums and steering committees, including agendas, papers and minutes.
• Review initiatives against financial, operational, legal, risk, cybersecurity, privacy, data and responsible AI requirements.
• Provide PMO support across stakeholder coordination, reporting and assurance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance processes and support effective program delivery.
