Betashares Group is hiring a Software Engineer to operate and mature our internal AI Platform as it moves from prototype to business-as-usual. You will focus on platform engineering and DevSecOps, improving deployment, security, observability and day-to-day support while learning the platform.

You’ll work with platform engineers and business stakeholders across AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, TypeScript and event-driven services.

Formación

• Backend services written in TypeScript or similar language with testing and debugging ability.
• Experience deploying or supporting cloud-hosted apps and containerised workloads.
• Knowledge of version control, CI/CD, automated tests and IaC.
• Understanding relational databases and APIs; methodical issue investigation.
• Secure coding practices including secrets handling and access controls.
• Ability to learn new systems, document changes and explain issues clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Improve platform operational maturity and reliability of deployments and maintenance.
• Operate and enhance AWS and Kubernetes environments; automate infrastructure changes.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines with tests, security checks and rollback processes.
• Implement security controls for secrets, permissions and audit logging.
• Enhance monitoring, logging and alerting; investigate incidents for reliability.
• Support PostgreSQL operations and event-driven services across boundaries.
• Build TypeScript backend services and internal tooling to enable AI workflows.
• Document procedures and gather feedback from engineers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to design reviews and take on broader platform decisions over time.
