Job summary

Teachers Mutual Bank Limited is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design and operate the secure, governed technology foundations for generative AI across the bank. You’ll work across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Foundry to enable scalable, safe AI capabilities.

You’ll own configuration, integration, automation, monitoring and deployment readiness, partnering with risk, security and data teams to translate responsible AI requirements into practical platform patterns.

Job description

Help build AI capability from the ground up and shape how AI transforms banking.

As an AI Platform Engineer, you’ll design, engineer and operate the secure, governed technology foundations that enable generative and agentic AI across TMBL. From Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio to Microsoft Foundry, RAG and enterprise integrations, you’ll take hands-on ownership across configuration, integration, automation, monitoring and operational readiness.

This is an opportunity to contribute to TMBL’s significant, funded, multi-year technology transformation while helping establish an AI capability where tools and the operating model are still evolving.

Your work will support AI initiatives from discovery through production, balancing innovation with security, privacy, reliability, observability and human oversight.

What you’ll do

• Engineer and administer Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry environments
• Create governed AI agents and RAG patterns integrating approved enterprise knowledge, data and APIs
• Automate platform provisioning and releases using Azure DevOps or GitHub, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, APIs and infrastructure as code
• Build monitoring across availability, latency, quality, safety, adoption and cost
• Embed identity, security, privacy, content safety, data protection and responsible AI controls throughout the platform
• Work with Data, Risk, Security, Architecture, Operations, Change and delivery partners to take AI capabilities from pilots into production

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience engineering and operating enterprise AI platforms or production generative AI solutions in Azure
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry
• Experience building AI agents and RAG solutions using enterprise data, APIs, embeddings or vector search
• Development and automation capability across Python and/or C#, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices using GitHub or Azure DevOps
• Understanding of cloud security, responsible AI, LLM evaluation, testing and observability

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure networking, Key Vault, API Management, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics or Microsoft Purview
• Financial services or another regulated-industry background
• Knowledge of privacy, data residency and AI regulatory obligations
• Experience creating reusable AI platform standards, reference implementations and technical documentation
