Job summary

Nuage Technology Group in Brisbane is seeking a Software Engineer (AI-Native) to ship production software using Claude Code, TypeScript on AWS serverless, and a shared framework. You’ll design, build, test and deploy features end to end, with a focus on robust agentic coding practices and collaboration within a team.

The role emphasizes building serverless services on AWS, CI/CD via GitHub Actions, React/Flutter front-ends, and rigorous testing and code reviews to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• 12+ months shipping production software.
• Daily, fluent use of Claude Code as main development tool; planning, delegating and reviewing agentic work.
• Experience setting up agents for a codebase: CLAUDE.md, custom skills and commands, hooks, MCP servers.
• Comfort working within a shared team framework rather than a personal setup.
• Strong code review and testing habits; you can identify and fix agent errors.
• TypeScript and AWS serverless with AWS CDK.
• SQL/PostgreSQL schema design and migrations.
• Agile delivery: user stories, estimation, iteration.
• Clear writing; you’ll write prompts, PRDs and docs for agents and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Ship features end to end from requirements to tested, deployed code using Claude Code.
• Run multi-file agentic changes and own the result with thorough review and testing.
• Work inside a shared team framework to standardize the approach across the team.
• Follow a delivery loop: PRD testing, issue breakdown, autonomous build loops with tests as gate.
