Job summary

Umbrella Club seeks an experienced AI / Agentic AI Engineer to shape next-generation Generative AI and intelligent automation solutions in Sydney. You will design AI agents, build copilots and automation, and integrate enterprise data via APIs and MCP using modern AI frameworks.

The role emphasizes hands-on development with LLMs, RAG architectures, and cloud-native AWS infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing AI agents, multi-agent systems, agent orchestration, and workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience with MCP and REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks and function calling.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and LLMs from various providers.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native development.

We are looking for an experienced AI / Agentic AI Engineer to join our team and build next-generation Generative AI, AI Agent, and intelligent automation solutions.The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering experience with hands-on expertise in Agentic AI, AI agents, LLMs, RAG, MCP, API integrations, and modern AI frameworks. Experience working with AWS cloud services is highly desirable.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience developing AI agents, multi-agent systems, agent orchestration, and workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks, tool calling, and function calling.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as:
