Job summary

Snowflake is seeking an AI/ML Consulting Manager for ANZ to lead a team of technical architects and oversee partner resources, translating customer priorities into actionable engineering work.

You will serve as a billable delivery advisor, guiding design, evaluation, and deployment of AI agents and gen AI applications, while managing delivery quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations across customer engagements. Up to 25% travel to on-site client sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in customer-facing technical consulting or AI/ML delivery.
• Experience managing and developing technical professionals and coaching/career development.
• Experience coordinating internal and partner delivery teams and resolving escalations.
• Understanding of the generative AI development lifecycle and production delivery.
• Knowledge of production practices for LLM applications, AI agents, and observability.
• Cloud architecture knowledge with AWS/Azure/GCP and evaluating fit with Snowflake.
• Foundational Python/API framework skills with ability to coach architects.
• Clear communication to technical and executive audiences; degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical architects across ANZ, setting expectations and enabling career growth.
• Serve as billable technical lead and delivery advisor across customer engagements with architecture guidance and reviews.
• Own successful delivery by Snowflake architects and partner resources with customers and GTM teams.
• Guide customers and delivery teams through problem definition, design, development, deployment, and handover for AI agents and generative AI apps.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, manage expectations, and escalate/resolution risks.
• Coordinate team capacity and engagements balancing commitments, fit, and coaching time.
• Review designs for grounding, security, governance, and observability; address technical debt and remediation.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Frontier Engineering on planning and feedback; travel on-site up to 25%.
