Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead strategic client relationships and design enterprise AI systems. You will drive end-to-end delivery from initial discovery to production, selecting the best tooling for each problem and ensuring security, scale, and cost efficiency.

You will mentor engineers, shape internal practices, and guide clients on AI roadmaps while operating across cloud platforms and data environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• 3+ years delivering AI/ML or LLM-based solutions in production.
• Proven track record of leading complex, customer-facing technical engagements.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with enterprise clients from discovery to production, including C-suite engagement and roadmap influence.
• Architect and ship enterprise-grade AI systems using Claude, GPT, Gemini, etc., with secure, scalable design.
• Set the technical direction on engagements; mentor engineers and lead incident resolution.
• Define evaluation frameworks for model quality, safety, and business impact; implement LLMOps practices in production.
