Job summary

Excolo. in Australia is seeking an experienced AI Engineer for a contract role to build and ship agentic and GenAI solutions from prototype to production, then keep them running in live environments.

You will deploy production AI systems using LangChain and LangGraph, develop RAG pipelines, vector search and embeddings, and design autonomous agents that summarize data, escalate exceptions and trigger downstream processes while integrating REST APIs and enterprise systems for end-to-end

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production AI systems.
• Proficient with agentic frameworks, RAG, vector search, embeddings.
• Experience evaluating and testing AI systems.
• Familiar with cloud AI services (Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock).
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, version control.
• Ability to work independently in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production AI systems from prototype to production.
• Own evaluation, monitoring and reliability of live solutions.
• Collaborate with users to test and refine based on feedback.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems via REST APIs.
• Operate in a fast-moving environment with independent delivery.
