Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in machine learning, deep learning, or AI development.
  • Strong understanding of agentic design patterns: tool use, planning, reasoning, memory, and orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and frameworks such as AgentCore Runtime, Gateway, Strands, or LangChain.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to deliver in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Financial services exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build RAG pipelines, semantic search, and knowledge bases.
  • Design and deliver agentic workloads into production.
  • Implement technical guardrails in AI systems.
  • Implement technical guardrails such as input validation, output filtering, and hallucination detection.
  • Work with engineering, product, and business teams throughout the agentic AI lifecycle.
  • Apply strong prompt engineering, context management, and system tuning.
  • Research and implement new techniques in agentic architectures, tool‑use patterns, multi‑agent workflows, and A2A communication.
  • Design and build MCP servers and integrations for agent access to external systems and tools.
  • Maintain safety documentation, audit trails, and support broader AI governance.
  • Train teams on AI capabilities and workflows.
  • Build or use frameworks for automated hallucination checks and response validation.

Principal Consultant - Transformation Project Services & Consulting

Location: Sydney

The Role

You'll join a new Applied AI function tasked with building AI systems that behave reliably and align with business goals. Reporting into the Head of Engineering & Data, you’ll work across engineering and business teams to design, deploy, and govern autonomous AI agents in production.

What You’ll Do
  • Build RAG pipelines, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge bases using vector databases and cloud‑native LLM platforms.
  • Design and deliver agentic workloads into production.
  • Use cloud services and IaC to build, deploy, and manage environments.
  • Implement technical guardrails such as input validation, output filtering, and hallucination detection.
  • Work with engineering, product, and business teams throughout the agentic AI lifecycle.
  • Apply strong prompt engineering, context management, and system tuning.
  • Research and implement new techniques in agentic architectures, tool‑use patterns, multi‑agent workflows, and A2A communication.
